> Paul Fowle, Director

Paul joined First Phase in 2008 after enjoying a successful 30-year career in banking, finance and consulting.

He gained extensive financial and business experience and expertise during a career in corporate banking and finance between 1979 and 2000. Occupying senior management positions within major and global banks, such as ING Bank, Credit Lyonnais, Westpac and Sumitomo Bank, Paul has been involved in key policy, strategy, management decisions and implementation.

Paul has managed and been responsible for loan and asset portfolios up to a value of US$10 billion. Paul was Head of UK Corporate Clients at ING Bank and has been a regular Credit Committee member and presenter, with an in-depth understanding of the operational intricacies of the banking world.

His commercial and consulting acumen was honed during his time as a Director of an innovative and successful risk management solutions PLC and on secondment as a non-executive consultant/adviser to the Board of a global financial management consultancy.

> Craig Anderson, Director

A New Zealander, Craig has a diverse background in the banking and property investment industries spanning over 15 years.

As a Product Accountant specialising in Emerging Markets Fixed Income & Credit Derivatives, Craig worked in senior City roles for both UBS and Deutsche Bank between 1995 and 2004.

Leaving the City to join a private overseas property investment company as Acquisitions Director, Craig was responsible for the sourcing, structuring, packaging and placement of more than $500 million of real estate – primarily within the niche, developing markets of Central & Eastern Europe.

Having co-founded the First Phase Group in 2008 with two former colleagues, with a strategic focus on Frontier and Premier markets, Craig has since worked on and/or originated and structured projects in excess of $80 million – principally in Europe and Asia.
